The world spoke on November 4'th. It reacted to years of an unchecked imbalance. And, as Rush Limbaugh puts it, the Left spoke from sheer anger and memories of supposedly stolen elections in 2000 and 2004.
When the President spoke to the Congress in September 2001 after the 9/11 attacks, he noted we would be struggling for decades against a bitter enemy. He did not lie. He simply called it like he saw it. His mandate, as he saw it, was to protect the country. And he acted effectively against the enemies of this nation.
But... somewhere along the way, the injections of money, the huge government increases and a focus on events outside of the nation were the order of the day, rather than to address ills that festered within. And fester they did.
The banking industry began to spin out of control. Energy prices spiked and the cost of everything soared to the point that people began cutting back just to afford to get to work and back. We all know it. We lived it.
The Democrats were not blameless in all of this. They sought and harped and screamed for a new "Homeland Security" agency and ultimately got it. The President made the mistake of capitulating and, as a payback, when New Orleans was devastated in 2005, the confused agencies reacted poorly. Of course, the Democrats were blameless in all of this, with a governor who refused to cooperate with FEMA and who dropped the ball while the worst came to pass. So the President took responsibility and the rebuilding of New Orleans began. Lessons were learned, but memories selective and Republicans blamed, sometimes rightly, often wrongly.
There were those who took advantage of these ills. The Democrats delight in bad news. And they are not above creating circumstances to take precise advantage of these problems to assume the power that they so desperately want. Now whose fault is this? The Republicans or the Democrats?
Both. A watched pot never boils, but a pot ignored will set the house on fire. And while the scheming went on and rhetoric over Iraq dominated, the crisis in the housing market began.
I have been a lifetime member of the Republican party and will remain so. I do note that the level of email and mail marketing that descended upon my home day and day out with dire warnings and no interest in what I had to say and a lack of understanding of how to use media to promote a positive message.
This is what the Democrats capitalized on. They used a masterful plan that utilized social networks, internet technology and very creative face to face party building techniques to promote excitement and to tap the messages and mood of their people. That is what the Republicans need to do. I sent letters to the Republicans asking them to push for local gatherings, chats with politicians and to host parties and the like to connect. Instead, it was nothing but endless letters asking us for huge dollar sums and not a lick of interest in the base. Frankly, they deserved to lose because of their arrogance and complete abandonment of the party principles.
Couple that with the surrender of Christmas and other Christian holidays to the Liberals who have successfully lobbied to push Christianity out of America and you understand why people began to have their doubts. The extreme right wing was notably underpowered in their defense of their interests and the only positive aspect was their position on abortion being consistent but hopelessly lacking in applicability. Their lack of training youth on abstinence and a head in the sand mentality about sex itself has a lot to do with why they are not listened to much. At some point, there will have to be a push for moderation on what can be sustained and steadfastness on that which matters to them.
I noted in 2004 that there was no way that the endless hike in real estate prices could be sustained. It seemed to me that basic fundamentals of business were being abandoned and that banking standards were no longer what I remember them to be. With Barney Frank and his friends egging things on, they successfully hung the economic difficulties on the Republicans, who were driving the boat. As they say in the Navy, the Captain is responsible for everything going on aboard ship. So it did ultimately and fairly fall on the Republicans that this all fell into their lap.

Article. I. - The Legislative Branch Note
Section 1 - The Legislature
All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
Section 2 - The House
The House of Representatives shall be composed of Members chosen every second Year by the People of the several States, and the Electors in each State shall have the Qualifications requisite for Electors of the most numerous Branch of the State Legislature.
No Person shall be a Representative who shall not have attained to the Age of twenty five Years, and been seven Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State in which he shall be chosen.
(Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.) Now that Barrack Hussein Obama is now the President-Elect, here is what you can expect:
A world depression is almost a certainty.
Higher (stratospheric) Taxes.
Legislation through the courts will be the new norm.
Either the Constitution is abolished or ignored.
The war is lost. In fact, Obama will surrender all the gains made in the current war.
The potential for a much more aggressive China and Russia seeking territorial gains at the expense of a weak president whose agenda is geared to inward views and a hatred of the military.
Rises in crime and a complete abandonment of principles of justice in the courts. Criminals will be given a free pass while victims will be punished by the courts, like it was in the Kennedy and Johnson administrations.
Now that this is said, the positive news:
We're still here. Conservatives, unless we are taken out and jailed for our beliefs, still hold to our values.
2010 is closer than you think and the left is on notice that if it goes too far, the Congress can be taken right back to place a cap on Obama's power.
Americans still value freedom. Should it be that these new leaders try to take it from us, I think there would be hell to pay.
The 2012 election will quite likely feature Sarah Palin as a primary player. If anything is a good sign, it is the appearance of this amazing woman who signifies a refreshing change to the GOP.
This too, shall pass. Patience and holding fast to our values will win the day.
The Supreme Court has denied the injunction! If I read this right, then Obama may well have to prove his citizenship. The court has not stopped the election, but they are going to wait until the election is over and if Obama wins, then there will quite likely be a furor! Imagine the liberals freaking out. This may well go on into December or so and it looks extremely likely that we are going to see another crisis in the Constitution no matter what.

Obama's birth certificate does not exist. The birth declaration submitted is forged and this is proven. Obama knows this. And he has had help in promoting this fraud on the American people.

The U.S. Supreme Court is being asked to help the nation avoid a constitutional crisis by halting Tuesday's election until Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama documents his eligibility to run for the top office in the nation.
Democratic attorney Philip Berg had filed a lawsuit alleging Obama is ineligible to be president because of possible birth in Kenya, but as WND reported, a federal judge dismissed the complaint claiming Berg lacks standing to bring the action.

The 34-page memorandum that accompanied the court order from Judge R. Barclay Surrick concluded ordinary citizens can't sue to ensure that a presidential candidate actually meets the constitutional requirements of the office.
Instead, Surrick said Congress could determine "that citizens, voters, or party members should police the Constitution's eligibility requirements for the Presidency," but that it would take new laws to grant individual citizens that ability.
"Until that time," Surrick says, "voters do not have standing to bring the sort of challenge that Plaintiff attempts to bring."

Berg has maintained that uncertainty about how the U.S. does enforce the requirements of presidency may result in a constitutional crisis should an ineligible candidate win the office.
In a statement today, Berg said he is applying to Justice David Souter for an "Immediate Injunction to Stay the Presidential Election of November 4, 2008."
"I am hopeful that the U.S. Supreme Court will grant the injunction pending a review of this case to avoid a constitutional crisis by insisting that Obama produce certified documentation that he is or is not a "natural born" citizen and if he cannot produce documentation that Obama be removed from the ballot for president," Berg said.

A prominent Pennsylvania Democrat, Phillip J. Berg, filed a case in Federal Court on August 21st, demanding that Barack Obama produce evidence that he is a natural born citizen of the United States. Only a natural born citizen of the ! United States can serve as President. Sen. Obama could have put the matter to rest by producing a valid birth certificate. Instead, he and his lawyers fought tooth and nail to block access to Obama's birth records.

Since that video was recorded, the Federal Judge assigned to hear Mr. Berg's case, Judge R. Barclay Surrick, a Bill Clinton appointee, ruled that an ordinary citizen of the United States does not have the right to file a case in Federal Court to challenge the credentials of a candidate for President of the United States!
Watching the Sunday Morning talking heads on Meet the Press and This Week was kind of a surreal experience. For a minute I thought it was next Sunday, because they were all talking about the election in the past tense, with questions like "when was it that John McCain lost this election?" The discussion came down mostly to how much of a landslide the election is going to be for Obama, with no consideration of the possibility of any other outcome.
Apparently the media has entirely convinced itself that exit polls of early voting can accurately predict the overall outcome of the election, despite the fact that it has been definitively proven that people lie pathologically to exit pollsters, as was demonstrated in 2000 and 2004. In addition, all of the polls are using weighting systems based on hypothetical assumptions about demographics, voter turnout and voter attitudes which have no basis in anything except the partisan wishful thinking of the pollsters and their employers. With McCain running such a wildly unconventional campaign, clearly based on a completely different set of assumptions, the talking heads seem foolishly arrogant in their premature conclusions. It is almost enough to raise the suspicion that they are engaging in psyops-style vote suppression and attempting to convince people not to vote because the outcome is predetermined.
One of the fundamental mistakes the punditocracy and the pollsters seems to be making is the assumption that high voter turnout means that lots more Democrats are voting and that independents are turning out to vote Democrat. This seems to be based on the theory that only Barack Obama can inspire people to vote and that those people can only be voting for him. They seem to be overlooking the reality that Obama is a polarizing figure and his power to turn out voters may very well include the power to turn out a lot of voters who oppose him. This is clearly what the McCain campaign is banking on by painting the Obama's negatives in broad strokes and making sure that those who have concerns about Obama are given plenty to worry about.
A second important mistake is the assumption that Obama has a strong appeal to the middle and working class. There's very little evidence to actually support this theory. Obama has become clearly associated with the ruling elite of the left and has consistently alienated the working, tax-paying segment of the population who turn out to vote more than any other segment of the population. Despite the claims of Obama's spokespeople, McCain has been aggressively campaigning towards that demographic and based on the impressive and increasing turnout at McCain and Palin rallies in key working class areas, he seems to be making huge inroads in that traditionally Democratic population. The predictions of the pollsters and pundits seem to give no consideration at all to the possibility that Obama may be losing a remarkable number of votes among the white middle class to whom the McCain message and Sarah Palin's union background and populist persona are very appealing.
The third mistake is the chronic Democratic assumption that voters are stupid and uninformed. The pollsters and the pundits are basing their conclusions about the election on the very questionable belief that McCain's message and his efforts to educate the public about Obama are not reaching the voters. It's a purely anecdotal and personal observation, but from what I've seen, a lot of people have gotten the message that Obama's background and ideology are extremely troubling and ultimately unacceptable. Fear of Obama is very real and very powerful, and it will motivate voters to turn out in large numbers to stop the threat to the nation which they perceive Obama to be.
