Police blame ghosts for damage

Metaphysics/Spirituality Romanian cops have closed a vandalism investigation that left local houses in ruins by concluding ghosts were to blame.

Families living in Lilieci reported windows broken, bicycles flying through the air, objects moving on tables and candles blown out when there is no wind.

When they complained they were being hounded by evil spirits to police they were laughed at.

But after officers saw the evidence with their own eyes they filed a report saying that ghosts were to blame.

Search Engine to find the UnExplained...

Metaphysics/Spirituality

The Anomalies Network and Big Blue are collaborating in a search engine designed for researching the paranormal.

UFO Crawler, as the facility will be known, will use OmniFind Yahoo! Edition search software.

It will help users across the world to collect and examine evidence for eerie, unusual and unexplained happenings.

The site will include a new, user-driven search and account access that will let users customize and view only information of interest to them.

The Anomalies Network already has a large archive of information about ghosts, aliens and conspiracy theories and believes it is the world's largest alternative information service.

The unknown fascinates people across the globe and this project will help people to pool their research resources and perhaps come closer to the truth.

And the scientific community are also continuing the search for alien life, the Telegraph reports.

Researchers have recently found clues about how life may have begun on earth, using the faint glow from light projected into space.

Year of Pig signals conflicts before new world order: soothsayers

Metaphysics/Spirituality The world can expect a roller-coaster ride of conflict and unrest, natural disasters and a plunge in global stock markets once the Year of the Pig begins, Chinese soothsayers say.

As the world farewells the Year of the Dog on Sunday, believers in Chinese superstitions have been busy consulting fortune tellers, feng shui geomancers and a wealth of new books for the year's fortunes.

Chinese fortunes are based on a belief that events are dictated by the different balances in the elements that make up the earth -- gold, wood, water, fire and earth.

Feng shui expert Raymond Lo said that according to ancient Chinese belief, the Year of the Pig is symbolised by two elements -- fire sitting on top of water.

"Fire sitting on water is a symbol of conflict and skirmish, and this may bring a relatively less peaceful year with more international conflicts and struggles," he said.
